Happy Saturday Journey

On 5 July 2014, Eight volunteers from Armitage Technologies Limited brought 19 children to Central district on Hong Kong Island to learn about landmarks such as Government House, City Hall, Statue Square, Central Post Office, etc. Volunteers explained with details and children listened attentively. The volunteers shared that it was not easy to remember all the details of the landmarks, but it was really rewarding as they knew that for most children it was their first time to learn about the history of those places.

Love to Grow

"Love to Grow” project was sponsored by Aedas Limited. Twenty teenagers visited an elderly centre located in Kowloon City together with volunteers from Aedas in early July 2014. The teenagers gathered information about the lives of these elderly when they were young. Participants will consolidate the information collected and use it to write and perform a play about old Hong Kong. It is hoped that via this practice, teenagers will get to know more the actual contributions made by the elderly and the development of Hong Kong.
