Hasbro Fun Day

30 volunteers from Hasbro visited Storyland and Diana Boyd Wilson centre on 14 December 2017. They played board games and storytelling with children respectively. Over hundred children benefited and each of them received a Christmas present. Everyone enjoyed the happiness of the festive period.

Christmas Charity Caroling

We are grateful that Hong Kong Chamber Flutes: Christmas Charity Caroling 2017 held on 18 December 2017, donated all the funds raised from ticket sales to HAC. Ms. May Wong, Executive Director of HAC, expressed our gratitude on site and shared that the donation will support children with special learning needs. Great applause to the kind-hearted musicians.

From Quiet to Cheerful

Lam Ching Man is a five-year-old member of Storyland. Her father Mr. Lam told that Ching Man was a shy girl a year ago. She used to hide behind the back of parents when encountered strangers. Therefore, he registered Ching Man for "Little Change Makers" project. After training for ten lessons, e.g. storytelling, drama and elderly visits, some positive changes were seen. "Ching Man became more cheerful, her interest on reading also raised. She started to tell story to her little brother whom was just a year old." Now, Ching Man can happily join activity with other kids in the centre without anxiety," Mr. Lam said.
