Native English Teacher in Tai O

Vandra Jean Joseph lives on Lantau Island for over 20 years, she loves the quietness and green environment of the island. Nine months ago, she learnt that Tai O centre was in need of an English tutor, since then, she started to teach children from kindergarten and primary school.

New phase of "Read to Change” programme

Funded by Drs Richard Charles & Esther Yewpick Lee Charitable Foundation, "Read to Change” programme (new phase) is launched in 2017 in collaboration with Dr. Annis Fung, Associate Professor, Department of Applied Social Science of the City University of Hong Kong and her research team. HAC used the Social Information Process (SIP) as theoretical base and storytelling skills as a means to enhance emotional intelligence and social skills of P.1-4 students.


Story Tea House in Lok Fu

The population ageing problem in Hong Kong needs creative solutions. HAC is glad to receive the support from Societe Generale and Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged to launch the captioned project. 70 children will be trained to serve the elderly people in East Kowloon districts.
