Joyful Childhood

Back in 2000, when Chan Yuen Pik was ten years old, Hans Andersen Club Tai O Centre was newly established. She went there to play with her primary schoolmates on a regular basis. HAC was the only organisation that focused on providing services for children in the community.

Storytelling in the nature

Collaborated with "M for Mother”, a parent-child magazine, HAC held a storytelling day in Lions Nature Education Centre, which benefited over 100 families on 30 April 2016. A few other interactive games in the nature were included in this special event.

Making friends

There are many techniques one needs to apply when making new friends. The main character of a picture book, "No one loves me”, encounters difficulty in making friends in a new environment.

Caring Company Partnership Expo 2016

HAC participated in the Caring Company Partnership Expo 2016 organized by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service on 10 May 2016 at Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Centre. The theme of this year is "Slow Walkers on Outlying Islands”. We encourage ethical consumption via participation in Lamma Garden and the Tai O eco tour.
