2. How will you organize your story?

The sequence of events in a story usually shows one or more characters grappling with internal or external conflicts. You can arrange your story in chronological order, that is, the natural order in which action happened from beginning to end. If you are planning your first story, you might stick with this kind of natural progression.

If you wish, you can change the order of events. For example, you can begin your story in the present (with the ending) and then “flashback” to the beginning of the story. There are many variations you can try. By experimenting with various time frames in stories, you can “recreate” your narratives, making them more challenging and different.
