The "SG Collage and Puppet Show" has commenced in March 2010.
Kindly sponsored and supported by Société
Générale (SG), the
project aims at encouraging children to express themselves
through art. Participants will create collage and puppets
based on Hans Andersen's famous stories, led by famous artists
Mr. Jim Chan (Puppet Creator), Miss Casper Chan (Artist),
Mr. Harry Wong (Magician and Musician) and Mr. Hay Wong (Puppet
Creator). There will be free workshops for children from four
underprivileged districts, and all works will be exhibited
by the end of the project. In doing so, we hope to cultivate
the artistic development among children and enhance their
confidence in communicating with others. Volunteers from Société
Générale will also participate in the workshops and create
their works of art with the children.
